Every year we all get a little older and June was Jenets turn to celebrate another year. We party with guests, local friends and family at Lualemba Bungalows then ended with a bag down at the beach with an amazing fireworks display. The beginning of April still had slight onshore winds and rain as if the rain season wasn’t leaving in a hurry. Mid April conditions changed with slight offshore winds and some nice swells up to 3-4 ft. Fishing was good this month with some nice catches mainly Spanish Mackerel. The Lualemba boats are in the water and the Restaurant and bungalows are looking great with a paint and general maintenance. Check out the April newsletter and hope to see you soon.

March is the end of the wet season and all the fun in Rote is about to begin with constant ground swells and slight offshore winds that will build throughout the season. Travel is getting easier in into and around Indonesia so uncrowded waves are here waiting.

Happy New Year guys January 2022 letter is updating what’s the go at Lualemba Bungalows in Nemberala Rote island. Not a lot of waves but a couple of surf sessions at Boa. Plenty of exploring, gardening and boat maintenance been happening. We are getting ready for surf season 2022 for you guys to come and surf your little hearts out.
